Ultimate Slip n Slide
Background:
Whilst freelancing for Colab, a client approached us with a brand new venture – Ultimate Slip n Slide. Opening in July 2023, this 95-meter waterslide is designed for all ages.
The client requested a fun, bold, and eye-catching logo that incorporates the primary colours yellow, blue, and red in a circular design, with a strong connotation of a ‘slide’ within the logo.
Developments:
Together, we explored several variations of developments with different color palettes. However, the main theme in all of them was the combination of the two L’s to form a long slide within the logo, ensuring that customers would immediately understand the nature of the business.
Branding:
The client preferred the option where ‘Ultimate’ sat on the edge of the circle, emphasising this word. We finalised this design and used it across marketing materials, which were displayed throughout Frome and its outskirts.
Since its first year of launch, I have continued to support them with any print material they require. It has even been featured on ITV News and has become a favourite of Liberal Democrat politician Ed Davey.
